Personal Experience

Matthew is a Senior Associate with the Futures Group who specialises in workplace investigations. His experience includes working with the Western Australia Police Force as a Detective at a number of specialist units and, conducting health, performance and conduct investigations for a national regulator.

Matthew has extensive experience in criminal and workplace type investigations including, fraud, misappropriation, sexual misconduct, assault and bullying type matters. He has presented findings and recommendations to state prosecuting authorities, national boards and, given evidence in court settings. Matthew employs a risk-based approach, using his investigative skills and expertise to resolve matters economically using best practice.

Matthew is a personable professional who is able to connect with people from all different backgrounds and professions. He can assist people to tell – what can often be – difficult or sensitive information. Coupled with his expert ability to interpret digital evidence including; CCTV, access logs and electronic communication, Matthew is able to provide an impartial, objective point-of-view in workplace matters.
