Donna Buckingham

Donna Buckingham is a Consultant with The Futures Group. She has over 20 years’ experience as a Psychologist, Consultant and healthcare leader in WA, NSW, and ACT.  

Having worked extensively within government health and community services as well as corporate settings, Donna brings a wide lens and depth of experience to her consultancy role. A key feature of her experiences in healthcare leadership and clinical management has been to recruit and retain clinical teams and has expertise in guiding and supporting selection panels. Donna utilises her expertise to assist selection panels in all areas of the process, including shortlisting applicants, conducting referee checks, chairing interview panels, and writing subsequent reports for clients, in line with public sector standards and providing feedback. Donna also has sound knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes.

In addition to consulting to the public sector, Donna has worked in an executive position in a digital health start-up; been the Director of her own clinical practice; facilitated workshops and training on pertinent workforce topics, and been invited to participate in a range of governance and quality assurance committees and state-wide mental health networks.
