Elissa is Senior Associate with the Futures Group, specialising in workplace and misconduct investigations, and fraud detection. Elissa has a proven track record in conducting complex investigations across regulatory, workplace and criminal contexts. Her experience includes matters involving whistleblower protection, fraud detection and management, psychosocial harm, sexual harassment, bullying, and breaches of workplace policy.
Elissa has a background working in the professional services and resources sector, and working for the Western Australian Police Force as detective at a variety of specialised units.
Over her career Elissa has presented investigation observations and findings to senior executives and stakeholders and has presented evidence in all levels of criminal justice in Western Australian. Elissa has a practical and balanced approach to investigation, acting with transparency and fairness to all parties in what is often highly sensitive and emotionally charged period.
